lj memes as a vector of attack: let the nightmare begin

What began as nothing but an idle conversation between Petramagus and myself quickly turned into a raging epidemic spreading throughout livejournal. It was completely worth the extra 20 gigs of traffic to scatter 60,000 pictures of goatse across the blogosphere. Pete did a pretty good job simulating the completely nonsensical nature of lj memes, for instance the “random” axis of lj mojo was actually just a totally random value.
And now we have all this sweet dating data.
When you plant a fertile meme in my mind you literally parasitize my brain, turning it into a vehicle for the meme's propagation in just the way that a virus may parasitize the genetic mechanism of a host cell.
